If anything, plans have gone the opposite way to what Liu had originally said. Riot Games announced barely anything new and didn't hint at any major updates as fans were expecting.

Sonic 3 Reveals Epic Cast Member 

The first Sonic movie came out in 2020, and we're already onto the 3rd. Are they rushing things with Sonic or purely trying to make up for the somewhat fail of the first movie?
